What is included in the starter kit?

The starter kit includes everything you need except a container and IPA alcohol. It includes a lens duster, dust blower, silicone funnel, calibration ruler, blade, spatula, cutter, level, screw driver, tweezers, and a wrench.

Why am I not receiving my password reset email?

Recommended Printing Parameters: Exposure Time, Lifting Height, & Lifting Speed

Note: The base line exposure times are for MakerJuice resins and 3D Materials ABS resin. Spot-HT is 2 times the base line exposure time, while 3DM Cast is 1.5 times the base line exposure times. If you notice light leakage , please decrease the exposure time.

These are the recommended base line exposure times. In general, the actual exposure time needed should be lower than these numbers. Each print requires a customized set of printing parameters. We normally define parameters for 5 printing zones in the “basic mode” of our software.

First zone:
This is for the first attachment layer. The first attachment layer for 30 to 50 microns XY resolution is always 60 seconds while attachment layers for greater than 50 microns XY resolution require 10 times the base line exposure time. The lifting height is set to 7 mm with lifting speed of 25 mm/min.
Second zone:
This is for the rest of the attachment layers. The total thickness of attachment layers should be between 0.2 mm to 0.3 mm. The exposure time is half of that of the first layer. The number of layers in this zone depends on the thickness of your layers. The lifting height is set to 6 mm with lifting speed of 25 mm/min.
Third zone:
This is for the rest of the layers of the first 1.2 mm of the print. Exposure time is the same as that for the fourth and fifth zones, depending on the structure printed. The lifting height is set to 5 mm with lifting speed of 25mm/min.
Fourth zone:
This is for the supports. If the model has fine supports, increase the exposure time two or more times than the regular exposure time in the fifth zone. The lifting height is set to 4mm with lifting speed of 50mm/min.
Fifth zone:
This is for the rest of the layers. The exposure time is estimated from the base line exposure time. The lifting height is set to 3 mm with lifting speed of 50mm/min.

Skip the fourth zone if the print contains no supports. If the 5 zones are not enough for the print, use the “advanced mode” of our software and set all the parameters in an Excel spreadsheet.

How much resin can I print with using the PSP resin container?

We recommend using between 60 mL to 150 mL of resin.

If more resin is needed, please add it from the side of the resin container after roughly half of the original resin is used.

What is the minimum clearance area to keep around the printer?

Please keep an area of at least 6 inches from the side with the fan and 2 inches from other sides. The machine can not be enclosed in a box during operation.

More clearance area will extend the life of the projector and the other printer components.

How will I pay for my order?

We provide two methods for payment.

1. Direct Bank Transfer: you can choose an offline payment option via Direct Bank Transfer during the online checkout process.

Orders with “Direct Bank Transfer” will show an “On-Hold” status. Please submit your payment directly to our bank account within 24 hours.

2. Amazon: you can choose pay via Amazon (with your Amazon account or with your credit card) during the online checkout process.
After completing the online Amazon payment, the order status in “My Account” will appear as “Processing”. Please wait for the confirmation of the payment receipt and order status to update to “Completed” which usually takes 24 hours.

We strongly recommend you register or log in Kudo3D website before proceeding with the checkout process. By doing this, your order will be shown in your Kudo3D account. If not, you can only receive the email notification with your order details which is difficult to monitor your order status.

How do I pay via Direct Bank Transfer?

You can choose to pay via “Direct Bank Transfer” during the online checkout process. After completing the checkout process, you can go to “My Account” and click your order. Our bank information will be shown on the order detail page. You can also check your order receipt email notification, which shows our bank information as well. Please submit your payment directly to our bank account within 24 hours.

Please note that your order will reflect an “On-Hold” status until we update it.

Please contact us and provide your Order Number after you transferred the payment. We will update your order status after we confirmed your payment.

There are multiple orders in my account – what happened?

For new orders, our system will create an order automatically after clicking the “PLACE ORDER” button during the checkout process, even if you didn’t complete the payment procedure. If you choose to pay via Stripe or Paypal, the order will show a “Processing” status after completing the payment. Otherwise, it will show a “Cancelled” status. Cancelled orders are invalid.
