3D printed Mr. Bean Bust

We have printed many Mr. Bean busts so far. The biggest one reaches 8.66″ tall. The first one, which is also the shortest, was printed with grey translucent resin. Transparent resin is not suggested to use for printing 3D figures because light passing through the models will make it hard to see the surface details of the printed object. Be careful to choose the right resin for your 3D printing. For the dark brown head bust printing, we were experimenting resins with different colors during one print. The body and the pedestal were printed with brown resin. Because the pigment precipitates during the printing process, you can see the transition to a more translucent color in the neck region. We then paused the printing and mixed the remaining resin with red resin. Continuing the print, we have a darker head on top of a translucent neck.

Printing Date: 2013/8/2 (Pre-Titan) to 2017/6/11 (Bean)
